Hello,

 

I have a question regarding possible network setup with the Deco X68.

I current have is setup with the following. Wired connection from my modem/router to the Main Deco and 2 other deco nodes connected to the main wirelessly.

Since the main Deco has an extra Ethernet port available, is it possible to attach an Ethernet switch to it?

I am interested to find out what switch you are using?

 

I too am looking at configuring the same way as you however I don't have the router just directly to modem - main deco - then the other 2x deco are wifi.

The main deco also has my NVR connected via the 2nd ethernet port everything is working fine but wanting to add extra ports so I can use my laptop directly.

Hi @flrsh808 , yes, you could add a network switch behind the main Deco

 

@Crozulu  TP-link switch would be a good choice, such as TL-SG105/108
