Firmware Version:

Hi everyone - Hope you are keeping well

I have recently bought two PA8010P's to assist the connection from my router to a Sky Q mini box in one of my bedrooms.

I have paired the adapters, unplughed it and plugged it in upstairs, plugged the ethernet into the adapter and then into the Q Mini Box and the connection is great.

However after about half hour or so the connection seems to drop. I have done a bit of reading and seem to think that this may be because of a power saving mode? Is there any way to turn this off or will I need to buy new adapters which allow me to turn the setting off for the connection to be more stable?

@AndrewJones99  Hello,
Hello, thank you for your detailed post, you could try some suggestions here for powerline unstable issue:

1. Please connect a computer directly to the main router by cable and confirm the router is stable.

Please wire a computer to the extender adapter and check if it could get stable connection
2. Turn off Power-saving mode on powerline devices as the guide here:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2018/

3. Put powerline units into the same room and test stability

If the issue persists, can you help confirm some details for the issue:
1.May I know House Led/LED Status on both devices when the issue happens?

After connection drops,  will it work again automatically or do you need to reboot poweline unit to make it work? Is router in downstairs and SkyQ box works upstirs?
2. Please download tpPLC Utility and check its firmware 2 powerline devices and let us know its firmware:
