Model: Archer C1200
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: C1200v2_eu-up-2.0.2 Build 20180308 rel.38281(Beta)

My router occasionally used to reboot on its own and my work was getting affected so found solution to fix the issue by flashing beta firmware here.

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/156295

Everything went well but when I login to my router I'm getting this pathetic beta watermark all over. Its so frustrating to eyes and disturbing as well.

There should be some way to remove the image or at least replace it with a stock image.

Here is the location of the image.

I hope there is a way to replace the image.

@infratech

All the TP-Link beta FWs have this watermark. It can't be removed (it's embedded in the FW) - that's its purpose, to know you're using beta FW.

When the next stable FW version is released, update it and this won't bother you anymore.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

In case you are rarely entering the setup GUI, but feel like that watermark is bugging you a lot when you do, then you could maybe consider disabling that watermark image temporarily each time.

If you use the Chrome browser or the Chrome-based Edge browser on a PC, then log into the router's web GUI -> position your mouse cursor near the far left or far right of the watermark image (basically a place where the watermark image isn't overlayed by other html stuff) -> click the right mouse button -> from the pop-up menu select "Inspect" -> the DevTools window will open and in the lower part of it you can see the line "background:>url(.../tp-beta-mark...png)..." -> hover your mouse cursor over that line and a checkbox will appear in front of that line -> uncheck the checkbox and the watermark image disappears -> close the DevTools windows by clicking the "x".

Of course, clicking the "Reload" button of the browser or re-opening the router's webpage will bring the watermark back.

@woozle I need a permanent solution. Any way to access the firmware and jst change the image file or simply edit the image and replace.
