Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.5.1

I have 3 deco m9 plus.

2 of them are US version v2

1 is US and version v2.8

At US site the latest version is 1.5.1 for v2 and don't have v2.8 available, but at FI(EU) site there are v2, v2.8 and 2.20 available and the latest firmware version is 1.5.3

Is safe to use the EU 1.5.3 firmware on US version?

thanks

@RodrigoBR

Hi,

Comparing with 1.5.1, 1.5.3 did not add any new features.

Is there any issue with the current firmware?

If not, there is no need to update the firmware to be 1.5.3.

@TP-Link

No issues or problem, but the 1.5.3(EU) changelog say "Optimized total performance" and it is a good improvement I would like to have.

It's safe to apply this Eu firmware on the US version?

@RodrigoBR

The firmware is for both US and EU versions.

PS: if no further issues, it is still suggested to keep on the current US version.
