Hi all,

I got some trouble which i can't resolve for a long time. After configuring my network by a specialist, on my xbox i got double nat detected. My network link is: TP LINK Archer MR600 -> Switch -> decoM4 mesh. I really don't know much about network and how its working and I need some simple help with that. I tried switching the decos into access point and it didn't change anything. I can't also login into switch UI by the IP it was reserved for.

If someone is patient for laic, please help with simple language :D

@braggabb

Hi,

Nowadays, many of the cellular network providers in the world have so-called Carrier Grade NAT (CGNAT) implemented on their side, which means you are not actually getting a public IPv4 address assigned to your SIM card.

If that is the case, then there is no way to fix the Double NAT issue from your side.

You will know if your cellular network provider employs a NAT on their side if the Internet IP address of your MR600 falls into one of the following IP address ranges:

(log into the configuration GUI of the MR600 and check the "IP address" in the section "Internet" under the menu "Network Map")

10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255
100.64.0.0 - 100.127.255.255
