Hi,

I'm about to take delivery (tomorrow) of a pair of TL-WA7510N 's and, just to save me time, I'd like to ask what mode I should set each device to.
ie
'Sending unit' TL-WA7510N &
'Receiving unit' TL-WA7510N.

I want to have a wireless bridge to my office/shed 25m away. I have mounting poles and brackets ready set up with clear line of sight.

Thanks

do you have a router at point #2 to connect the LAN cable coming from 7510 #2 or all your connecting devices are on 5Ghz band
if not, get a router any, and just disable DHCP to make it a AP and connect the LAN cable coming from the 7510 #2

load latest firmware TL-WA7510N_V1_121108
'Sending unit' TL-WA7510N AP mode
'Receiving unit' TL-WA7510N.Client mode

Thanks for that. Yes, I have a spare router for the receiving end and will turn off DHCP too.

Quick additional question. I have a video server attached to the receiving unit as well. I've set 'Port Forwarding' up in the Main Router on the sending side. Do I also need to do it on the receiving side router too so both routers 'forward' the same port for the same LAN IP address of the video server?
