Text Messaging on Wifi- Apple to Android failures "Not Delivered"
Running a Deco M5 Mesh system with 6 Deco's across the house. Provides excellent coverage upstairs, downstairs and outside as it should.
Running Spectrum Internet + Verizon Cell Service (iPhone 12).
When inside my house, I get exactly 0 bars. Meaning I require text/phone over wifi to make and receive calls and text inside my house. Its the reason I purchased this mesh system in the first place.
Issue:
Using the Mesh System, I can make/recieve calls just fine. Also, I can text message (imessage) apple to apple users just fine and send pictures to them easily. However, the annoying part about this mesh system is I cannot send picture messages to Android users using the mesh system. I have to connect directly to the Spectrum cable box wifi or walk outside for 5G service for me to be able to text android phones a picture message. I know its a Deco issue, because I can send them via the Spectrum wifi or cell service just fine. Only when connected to the Mesh system does it not work. Occassionally if I reboot my phone I can get a picture message out through the Deco's, but I'll get "Not Delivered" on the very next one.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and is it a setting or something? Its ridiculously inconvenient to have to walk outside or change my wifi connection to send a message.
