HI,

I am trying to set this router up to feed wifi to my summerhouse / office.  However I have having a nightmare changing the defaults and setting up a new network.  It keeps asking for the local password.  Th three passwords I ahve are:

* The default password which doesn't work;

* The pasword I have tried to set up for the new network, this doesn't work; and,

* My log onto this forum which again doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Regards,

Martin

Hi ,

Thanks for your reply.  I managed to sort last night.  I fully reset router and it asked for new local password which underneath said this was the administrator password.

So by resetting and and going through the process again I have managed to sort it out.  WIFI fully operational now.

Thanks again,

Martin

Which step did you see that requires a local password? Please show us a screenshot of the login window. Follow this guide to login to the router web interface and you should create your own login password, do remember it and you will need it to manage the router in the future:
