Hi all

I am hoping someone here can help with my issue.

I have a Bobcat 300 miner which is relayed and I have been told that the reason for this is because my 44158 port is closed.

I tried setting up the internal and external 44158 port, but when I check my port on https://portchecker.co/ it still says closed.

Is there anything I can do in the router or do I have to contact my sim card operator (UK 3 mobile) and ask them to give me a static IP or whatever is called as I am not an expert.

Thanks in advance

V.P

@V.P

Hi,

What you need is a "public" IP address.

Before you call your mobile network operator go to the Status page of your MR6400's configuration GUI and check if the Internet IP address falls within one of the following address ranges.

10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255
100.64.0.0 - 100.127.255.255

If it does, then you have a "private" Internet IP address and you may call your mobile network operator and ask them if they can assign a "public" IPv4 address to your SIM card.

In case your Internet IP address already is a public one, then your problem lies elsewhere.

@woozle

Thanks for your reply

I will look into it tomorrow and find out where my IP falls and see what the mobile operator can do for me.

Much appreciated
