Archer C6 unable to connect to Archer VR2100 via bridge
Hello I've two devices
Archer VR2100 acting as router/modem, providing Internet access and DHCP, with static IP 192.168.8.1
Archer C6 acting as router, providing wifi and lan connection with DHCP disabled, static IP 192.168.8.2 and WDS in RUN state SSID and MAC of VR2100 (via survey, with solid signal)
even though I am unable to ping 192.168.8.1 from C6 (and Internet connection is obviously not provided and network acts as different network). I've tried 2.4 Ghz only, 5 Ghz only, dual, WDS on on 5 Ghz, WDS on 2.4 Ghz. no matter what (yes, I checked password is correct, network type, channel is same) VR2100 does not list it as connected device, nor C6 pings VR2100.
C6 is V2 with 1.3.6 Build 20200902 rel.65591 and was working in this mode just fine with my former Huawei modem/router.
My current hypothesis is VR2100 does not server C6 connection requests (maybe firmwware bug? - I tried older firmwares with no success), but I don't know what to do with except replacing VR2100. Any ideas what to do / try?
PS. when I connect VR2100 and C6 via cable, it works fine, but I can not connect them that way in there desired positions (I need wi-fi WDS bridge connection).
Thank you for your suggestions.
