Hallo Forumler,

Danke schon mal!

Frank

Hello forumers,

I would like to attach to a Vodafone station (modem + router) an Archer A73 as a additional WLAN - router.

But Vodafone points out that you must then somehow adjust the address range at the new router -.

what must happen when and where (I'm a layman).

Quote Vodafone:

"You have to adjust the (private) IP address range on your device (e.g. 192.168.44.x instead of 192.168.0.x).
How to do this, you can read in the manual of your device. If you have any questions, please contact the manufacturer or the dealer where you bought the device."

Thanks a lot!

Frank

@Amplitude

Hello, is the network layout like below?

Vodafone Station (Modem + Router)---(WAN) AX73 (LAN)---computer

If the IP address of the Vodafone Station (Modem + Router) is 192.168.0.1, it's not necessary to manually modify the LAN IP address of the AX73 to something else, as it will automatically switch itself to 192.168.1.1 when it detects the Vodafone Station (Modem + Router) is also 192.168.0.1.

But if you still want to change it manually to something else like 192.168.44.1, then you can follow the guide to do that:

@Amplitude

Thanks a lot - its exactly like you have described (V-Station => AX73 => PC).

I will test this construct in the next time.

Please excuse my bad language skills.
Regards
Amplitude
