Model: Deco M4  
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.4.3 Build 20200918 Rel: 74289

WiFi connection constantly disconnected or not found on level 1. 

 

Main deco is at Ground Floor and 2nd unit is at level 1, approximately 5 meters far.

 

Upon checking on Deco App (Deco Lab) -> WiFi Interference Test, it show "High interference".

 

The problem is, there is NO WAY to change the WiFi channel. 

 

So what can i do?

Hi, I see a new firmware 1.5.2 has been released for Deco M4.

Please try to install the latest firmware first: https://www.tp-link.com/my/support/download/deco-m4/v2/#Firmware

 

At the same time, could you please help me check more details:

1. Did you only notice the unstable connection on level 1?

2. Would any Deco turn red when the connection dropped?

No, both units also not stable.

 

2. Would any Deco turn red when the connection dropped?

Yes. Very frequent. And sometimes i need to reset the it to get it back to normal
