Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.1.4 Build 20211022 rel.58866(5553)

Been working at this for a few weeks. comcast (logon/services/device mgr/data bar graphs)(hover mouse over bar graph to get current tot use) it will frequently say something like a 20GB use in a day, where the A7 says about 9GB. Wondering if anyone can give me a clue to why the difference? Of course called comcast many times but get either brush-off or "we are right and your router is wrong"  type answers.

No wifi - wifi is turned off. 2 wired devices: laptop, and firestick 4K. Just discovered that firestick also monitors data use and initially seems to match A7 stats but need a day or 2 more. Did a test download of a 2.2GB iso on laptop and that showed correctly in A7 stats. No hotspots per comcast.

Any clues?

Thanks!!!

EDIT: cable modem new Netgear CM500

Hello, as far as I know, in order to make the Traffic Statistics accurate, you have to have either set QoS to something other than Standard or set at least one client as High Priority. Give it a go, then check again if that matches what recorded what Comcast says.

@Kris277 Kevin, MANY thanks for your post and suggestions. Immediately set QOS "on" and to some higher value than I could hit(800, where my line is 200Mbps), and set fire TV stick 4K (I assume this is the offending critter) to "priority". My initial reaction is that, indeed the traffic amounts the A7 shows are now going up much faster, but I will report back tomorrow morning when I again check and log stuff. THANKS!!!
