Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.5.7

Hey

I have som trouble understanding what i am doing wrong. So i have the 3 deco m5 connected.

main deco m5 connected to the router and its worikg fine and the speed i nice (600Mbps).

The second deco i connected wiered to the main one. But the the speed from that one, is only like 300Mpbs.

The third deco is connected to nr 2(weierd) And the speed is 90-100Mps.

Why is there such a big loss in speed?

If i connected all of them to a swich form the main deco the speed be better?

@Forklift

Hi, is the network topology like:

ISP---main Deco M5----<wired>--2nd M5----<wired>3rd M5

Normally, the wired Ethernet connection would not cause a huge speed loss.

Have you tried to change a better Ethernet cable to test again?

if possible, please turn off the 2.4ghz on the Deco APP and test the 5ghz speed again.

Please also check the wireless link speed on the client in case it limits the speed:
