Model: Archer C50
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.8.0 0.3 v005c.1 Build 160801 Rel.73434n

Hi,

I have Archer C50 and I am connecting to VPN which I have purchased online. It give me error ppp9 rcvd [LCP TermReq id=0x2 "MPPE required but peer refused"]

Even I contacted to my VPN provider they said that my router does not using any encryption method and they are using MPPE 128 bit and MSCAP v2

Please suggest what should i do now and how I can use pptp on my router.

Thanks in advance.

@SohaibKhan

Hello, are you referring to Case 4 in the below FAQ?

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2801/

Archer C50 only supports those VPN servers whose data are not encrypted. You cannot connect to it if your provider's VPN server is encrypted.
