Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Using One Mesh with AX11000 and RE550 it does not seem to switch to best signal when moving through the house.  It will stay on the RE550 even when right next to AX11000. This happens all the time on my iPhone and other devices. Any suggestions would be great.

Hello@paultj007

Thank you for your post.  OneMesh will provide about roaming recommendations for clients ( phones, laptops etc.) and whether client steer to a different AP this is still decided byu client itself. It is possible that RE550 signal is strong enough to iphone or did not meet roam its thread hold , so iPhone choose to stick with extender's Wi-Fi signal.

If that does not affect device real performance it should be fine, we found an article online introduces iOS devices roaming decision , this may help explain:    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203068
