Model: Archer C7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I'm seeking help from the open wrt community with my new Archer C7:

I am looking to configure a wireless bridge Network as follows:

1.TV antenna signal (connected via coaxial cable) to

2.HDHomeRun (antenna signal processor) (connected by ethernet cable) to

3.TP-Link Archer C7 (client)

...(to transmit satellite signal wirelessly)...to

4. Internet Service Provider (ISP) modem/router ( Cogeco -Hitron CODA-4589 modem) (to allow broadcasting of the antenna signal to other TVs wirelessly in house).

Questions:

1. I am new to TP-Link routers (wireless networking)- and request guidance to configure the TP Link router to transmit the antenna signal wirelessly to the Cogeco ISP router.

2. Configuration settings on the ISP router to receive the Archer C7 signal and transmit the satellite signal to client TVs...

ISP settings are shown below:

HDHome Run antennae signal processor info is provided below:

(Any reference  site are specific instructions are greatly appreciated).

Thanks!

@stephenbeech

Here is an official guide from TP-Link. https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1555/

Contrary to the guide I recommend you should configure the 5 GHz WDS on the C7, because it will allow higher data throughput.

Also, if the WDS configuration page on your C7 has the option to configure a "WDS Mode", then set it to "Auto".

When you have verified everything is working, then you can connect the HDHomeRun via Ethernet cable to one of the LAN ports of the Archer C7.

You should not need to configure anything on the ISP router.
