I've searched around and can't get anywhere with this problem --

I've got a local device that listens (only) for incoming connections.  Since it never appears on the device list in the Deco app, I can't set up port forwarding to it.

I thought I'd work-around that by setting up an address reservation first.  Incredibly, I can't assign an IP address to a MAC address, even though I have both pieces of information in my hand!

What kind of UI is that??

Does anyone know of a way to plug in the values?

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks for the suggestion!  I modified it a bit and got things working.  Here's what I did:

1. Unplugged the device that will be getting the forwarded traffic. It was already assigned a static IP.

2. Changed one of my PCs to use that same static IP, then waited until the address change appeared in the Deco app.

3. Using the app, added the port forwarding entry to the PC that was modified.

4. Changed the PCs address back to what it used to be.

5. Plugged in the "real" device that is the target of the forwarded traffic.

Thanks again,

Steve
