@TP-Link The phone app is both highly insecure and trash at the same time. You can't even port forward to an IP address. It's totally stupid. Everything about the software on these Deco APs is a step backwards from what TP-Link used to offer.

It's just an awful product.

  @wase4711

1000% agree. I started months ago making sure my clients switch to alternate vendors.

I understand that Deco app is the main (and only) option for managing the network, but that doesn't mean that the Web UI should be almost useless
Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it

Have you ever tried inputting port forwarding information via the phone? This is why competitors are winning the race; opening up browser based configurations.

  @TP-Link PLEASE IMPLEMENT A FULL FEATURED WEB UI that at least matches the functionality of the phone UI.

  @TP-Link

For the love of god, please get a better web-based system to configure advanced settings and network setup. Users who want to use more advanced features and have more complex setups cannot keep struggling with this app which is geared towards those with no technical background.

If I cannot get a better UI through desktop, I will have to return this system. It is make or break for many users.

  @TP-Link I just can't believe this... I setup everything using the app on day one, but now, I need to get the serious work done. The fixed IPs, the port fowarding, ... and not having a web app is almost a reason to send everyhing back to amazon.

I just can't comprehend how you thought just a mobile app would be enough. Clearly trying to segment your customers, but come on ! It is not that complicated to achieve. Hire a bunch of interns and 5-6 seniors for a quarter, couple guys on security...
