Model: Deco W6000
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.9 Build 20211228 Rel. 56304

I am having an issue with my W6000 and ethernet backhaul.

I have the units set up with the primary hanging off a managed switch in my basement (STP is off at the moment). I have a small netgear "managed" switch in my office where the second unit is located.

Wireless backhaul works great.  Wired, not at all, and it breaks my network.  I suspect it is due to bridging loops, but I"m not sure.

When I plug in the wired backhaul to my managed switch, I lose all connectivity over the wire to my router (from my office).  When I unplug, the network goes back to normal.

I've been chasing this for days.   I want to be able to totally disable wireless backhaul and just used wired.

Is this possible?  Has anyone else seen this?

  @DocGonzo74

Hi, welcome to the community.

Would it be possible to provide a picture of your network layout, such as:

What are the model numbers of these two switches?

And Is Deco W6000 working on the wireless router mode?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
