Ethernet LED does not light up on TP-PA7017P powerline adapter

Trying to get the Ethernet LED to light up on one of my TP-PA7017P powerline adapters when plugged into the back of my modem but it refuses. Could it be a fault?

Hello @EricLawrie

If Ethernet Led does not light up after you wire powerline adapter to the router

Make sure you connect the powerline adapter to router via Ethernet cable tightly.
Try a different Ethernet cable between router and the powerline adapter
Please check if the LAN Led on router & Ethernet light up after wire TL-PA7010P to the router
Reset Wired Powerline unit: Keep pressing the Pair button until all the Leds flash once

You could try to connect another TL-PA 7010P to the same ethernet cable and see if the Ethernet led is ON or not.
