Model: Archer A5
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 0.3 v0001.0

I tried switching with router and access point modes but the devices connected on 2.4Ghz keeps disconnecting randomly. I have not done any configurations except switching operation modes.

Hello @heymackie

Thank you for reaching out to us and welcome to the TP-Link community.

Can we confirm the network layout and how is the Archer A5 connected to the network? Is there a modem router in front of it that acts as the gateway server?

Only the 2.4G connection drops, wired and 5G connection are good? If that is the case, it's suggested to review the wireless networks around you via a Wi-Fi analyzer and try to choose one with less interference with others, then monitor the connectivity. You may follow this FAQ to troubleshoot further.
