Model: RE505X
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.7 Build 20200604 Rel. 130850

I have an Archer AX6000 router connected to RE505X, the only way I found to activate Onemesh was with wifi interconection but the speed is no more than 200Mbps in the clients connected to RE505X. My current internet service is 1Gbps/1Gbps.

Im looking to connect my router and RE505X with UTP cable in order to increase the speed but the only way is in AP mode, this mode dont allow me to activate Onemesh.

Please your help to find a solution,

Hi,

It's like this by design, so there is no (immediate) solution.

Check out question 5 in this FAQ https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2690/ .

In AP mode it is recommended to place the router and the AP as far away from each other as possible (while still covering all the area between the two) as this should improve the way the client devices switch between them. Don't do the "Halfway" thing that is recommended for wireless extenders.

In AP mode you should also, if possible, choose non-overlapping channels for router and AP, to reduce the congestion of the wireless bands.
