Model: Archer A8
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have bought Archer A7 before and have been sure that it is possible to create a site-to-site tunnel between two archers A7.

A7 has a separate menu VPN-Server with two options:

- OpenVPN
- PPTP VPN

My new device Archer A8 doesn't have this menu.

It looks like it doesn't support such VPN modes.

Is there any way to connect these devices in the required tunnel mode? (site to site)
Is it possible to do it between two Archer A7 devices?

If it is not, which devices do I need?

@Kevin_Z, thank you for the answer and valuable links.

As I see it, my problem could be more global.

I need devices supporting IPSEC VPN because PPTP and OpenVPN couldn't establish LAN to LAN tunnel.

Am I right?

Could you provide me with a link for such devices? Not only wireless devices. Any router will be OK.

@OlehA

Apologies that I provided the wrong reference. If you are looking for the LAN-to-LAN IPSec VPN, it's suggested to go for the business routers, you can find the models by the IPSec filter on the Business website as follows:

https://www.tp-link.com/business-networking/vpn-router/?filterby=4971

For some home-based routers, you may check if you can purchase them in the local stores, such as Archer MR200 V4, and Archer MR600 V1.
