Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.11.0 Build 220425 Rel.61837n(5553)

Hey,

I bought Archer C6 router just a month ago and since then I am facing issues with the 2.4Ghz wifi. It works fine the suddenly disappears. It cannot be detected by any device such as Android phone and laptop. But the 5Ghz is working totally fine

Firware:1.11.0 Build 220425 Rel.61837n(5553)

I have read that people had same issue  previously ( around 2019 and 2020. There are a lot of similar issues raised on this community) and they were recommended to upgrade to 1.3 beta version. But it's 2022 now and my router has a well updated firmware.

I have tried stuff like changing the chanel from auto to 3, 10, 11 but the same thing happens after working well for two days.

Please help me out.

Hello @Nidhish_Sawant

When you say the 2.4G disappears, are you still able to detect the signal if you run a Wi-Fi analyzer on a phone or laptop? How many 2.4G signals you can see when running Wi-Fi analyzer? If there are too many 2.4G signals around, there are cases that yours become unstable, which makes you believe it disappears. Try to find a clearer channel to avoid the interference with your neighbors.

How will it recover? Do you need to reboot the router or disable/enable the 2.4G signal on the router web interface?

Are you enabling the 2.4G Guest Network also? Will it disappear also?
