Older 2.4Ghz devices not being found on the network

I recently bought a two node XE75 for the family home. Generally it's been great and made a huge improvement to the quality of Wi-Fi within a busy home. I have though had a couple of issues with older devices. Specifically tonight I have connected my old B&W Zeppelin speaker, it connects fine to the network but after a power cycle it reconnects to the Wi-Fi but none of the apple devices can see it to use airplay and the B&W app also can't find it. After a bit of experimentation, to solve this I have created a 2.4Ghz only guest network and when connected to this it behaves as expected and is discoverable after initial set up and after a power cycle.
I'm not sure if anyone can offer any advice as to what's happening and how I can get it to work reliably on the main network.

When B&W Zeppelin speaker was connected to the main network, after a power cycle, will you be able to see it show up online on the Deco APP?
It is also suggested to refer to this link to re-check whether the local network has been enabled on the Music APPs:

And please also try to close down the Music APPs on the Apple devices and reopen them.
If possible, please also turn off "Mesh Technology" for B&W Zeppelin speaker speakers on the Deco APP to see whether it helps discover the speakers on the APP.
