Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.13 Build 20220805 Rel. 71570

Hey,

I have 3 x Deco X60, backhaul, had been all good for about a year. I was able to manage the network just fine from my Android app.

I updated to the latest firmware (as the app prompted me), that is to "1.0.13 Build 20220805 Rel. 71570". Since then, I am unable to use the Android Deco app to manage the network, I just see "We couldn't find Deco... Something wrong with the Cloud service, try again... Connect to your decos wifi network and then try again".

I am connected to the Deco's Wifi network, and it still doesn't work. I can also easily connect locally via browser through 192.168.0.1 (but that interface sucks as it's mostly view only).

Do I have to really restart the whole Deco network to be able to connect again? I will lose all the settings such as reserved static addresses etc.

  @kotrfa

Hi, Thank you very much for the logs.

When I checked the MAC address, I see it is under a different email, not the one you used to register the community.

And the APP log was sent from your community profile

So I guess you might log into the wrong TP-link email account on the Deco APP.

For more details, please refer to the private message.

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @kotrfa

Hi, welcome to the community.

Could you please leave me a message with the MAC address of your main Deco X60?

And have you ever reset the password of your TP-link account recently?

If possible, please help me submit the APP log here:

How to submit Deco APP log

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @David-TP Thanks for the answer! Sure, here is the MAC address of my main Deco: 14-EB-B6-31-34-4C.

I did try that yesterday hoping it would solve the problem, but nothing has changed. I only got logged off in the app and had to login again, the problem persists though.

I also submitted the logs, linked this thread in the message + used the same email address.

  @David-TP oh dear, that was it. Apologies...

Problem solved, I was apparently signing in under the wrong username.
