 range extender. 
 

trying to work this out. When I'm already logged into Tether and I've logged out and in twice just to check the password I'm using is correct. Then I'm trying to connect the range extender, I'm connected to it on my WiFi and following all instructions correctly, and it says my password is incorrect. Which is impossible as I've logged out and I'm using that same password and is correct. I've tried many times and can't understand this. 
help please?!?

Hi, when you login Tether App, the password required is password of your TP-Link ID, then when you connect and login the range extender, the password required is a local administrative password, which is a different thing from the TP-Link ID password.

 

The local administrative password is usually either admin or your own password created manually when you login the extender for the first time via web interface or via Tether App, if you really don't remember it, I am afraid you will need to reset the extender to factory defaults and set it up again.
