5.0 Bluetooth dongle - Sony XM3 - Microphone ISSUES

Hi I'm having issues with the microphone working with UB500 dongle and the Sony XM3. I have another Bluetooth setup on another other pc and microphone works simple and fine.
When using UB500 TPLINK dongle I can connect to the headset, I get sound on both stereo and handsfree, everything is detected including microphone, I can switch to hands free headset to activate microphone but the microphone won't detect any voice.
Is the UB500 dongle incapable of this feature??
I've checked through sound issues, drivers, if the mic is disabled etc. reinstalled divers, restarted all the basic and beyond.
I'm eying off that this dongle is incapable of this feature.
any suggestions would be helpful thanks, this is my last resort.

Update: I can hear my voice if I set, but I am unable to get it to detect voice without this function activated
