Model: Archer A6
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I have an Archer A6 that is 2-3 months old (got it from my ISP) and everyday between 09:50 til about 10:50 in the morning loses connection only on machines connected by cable. Wi-Fi clients continue to work without a problem.

Cable clients example "flow"
09:51:00 loses connection
09:51:10 connects
09:51:17 loses connection

09:51:12 connects
...etc

It does this between 10 and 30 times.

I tried to disconnect the security cameras that I have (they operator on Wi-Fi) but does not change anything.
This problem started in the last 14-20 days before that it worked fine.

Looking for any suggestions.

Thanks!

I am using the latest firmware available and I found the culprit, I am using a MacBook 2022 that uses an USB-C adapter for an ethernet connection, the problem is that this little thing overheats... and this is the reason for the problem. I put a fan on it (2$ fan) and now I don't lose connection.

Sorry for wasting your time indecision

May I know if the issue happens on all wired client devices? or just one of them?

Please try different Ethernet cable and also different Ethernet ports on the router to see if the problem still exists.

In addition, if you connect the same wired client device to your modem without the router, do you have a similar issue?

By the way, what is the hardware version and firmware version of your Archer A6?
