Hi,
I am not aware of any TP-Link router that supports tethering with a smartphone via USB connection. (in case anyone knows one, then please let us know)
There is a way to set up something similar via the "Ethernet tethering" feature offered by certain newer Android smartphones, but it's not as simple. Have a look at the photo below.
