Model: Deco PX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.3 Build 20230420 Rel. 77020

Hi,

Recently I installed two PX50 units that, as it can be seen in the pictures, the backhaul is wireless and PLC. But I'm experiencing fluctuations in the connection speed. So I'm wondering about PLC backhaul quality link, is there any way to get some metrics? How do I know that PLC is working as intended? And at which speed?

This information would be very useful for setting up the network. Without this information is practically impossible to determine the source of the error.

Thanks

I did some more tests, installing the non-primary Deco in a place where the Wi-Fi link is weak, forcing the PLC connection.

The test speed was quite low, DL 45 Mbps and UL 40 Mbps, so I guess this is the real PLC speed. But instead of doing this test, it would be nice to have other internal metrics. Any help from support team?

More tests were done, connecting the laptop by Ethernet to the Deco and disabling Wi-Fi, I can test the PLC link to the main Deco.

And these are the results: DL 5Mbps and UL 280Mbps.

What happens with the DL? It is extremely low... and it could explain some behaviors...

EDIT: I have realized that I'm not forcing a PLC backhaul, so these results are not valid
