Model: TL-WPA8635P KIT
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 20230505

Hi,

As far as I understand the TL-WPA8635 is planned to get upgraded to EasyMesh - is there an update on when this might be.

Previously, the WPA8635 was not visible on my OneMesh network hosted by a C80 router. By resetting to factorys settingsn and installing the latest firmware I was able to get it back on the OneMesh network. However, it has now dropped out again after installing the latest firmware to main and satellite C80 routers.

  @MarkRB ...and we had a surprise brief powercut for the whole house... everything rebooted and the TP-WPA8635P is now visibly back on the Mesh network..

  @MarkRB

Hi,

Have you already tried to do the same thing again now? I mean, reset the TL-WPA8635P to factory settings and then re-add it to the C80's EasyMesh/OneMesh network.

The C80 should still support OneMesh with the latest firmware update. (the "EasyMesh" menu in the GUI still mentions both, EasyMesh and OneMesh)

Visit TP-Link's official website and navigate to the support section for your specific model. Look for firmware updates, release notes, and any announcements regarding EasyMesh compatibility. If you can't find the information you need on the website, consider reaching out to TP-Link's customer support. They may be able to provide more details on firmware updates and compatibility. Since you mentioned that resetting to factory settings helped in the past, you might try doing this again and carefully follow the setup instructions for integrating the TL-WPA8635P KIT into your OneMesh network. Ensure that the network environment is stable, and there are no interference issues. Check for other electronic devices, appliances, or sources of interference that might affect the performance of your OneMesh network.
