Firmware Version:

I have had these issues constantly, I even reinstalled windows from scratch and the same issue is occuring...

Event Log:

The local Bluetooth adapter has failed in an undetermined manner and will not be used. The driver has been unloaded. (Code 17)

Reliability Monitor:

The error that is there is irrelevant and not related to bluetooth or USB

Bluetooth works, then I put my computer to sleep and then wake it up and every time the driver encounters this issue… the only fix (temporary) that works is to uninstall the driver then right click in device manager and do “scan for hardware changes”… if I run the Bluetooth troubleshooter it does pretty much the same thing but takes longer.

I tried rolling back the driver, moving it forward… changing my local account from standard to admin and back again… Modified the sleep settings for the Bluetooth card, the PCI settings, etc with no success

Changed the Bluetooth Support Service to Automatic as well… and also tried the trick to do login via local account (which makes the issue worse, as it wont let me add/pair new Bluetooth devices in that state)…

Power management also didn’t fix anything

Put some screenshots of event logs

- I often pair the computer with OnePlusBuds Z, Galaxy Buds Live, and an xbox controller

The local Bluetooth adapter has failed in an undetermined manner and will not be used. The driver has been unloaded.

Shows up a lot as well

Issue to me at least seems to be exclusively with the BT part (which uses the USB 3.0 header on the MOBO, the wifi works fine after sleep (that is connected via the PCIE part of the card)

  @Amcan

Hi,

Do you have the latest Intel driver version for the Bluetooth part of the T5E card installed? Should be 20.100.10.11 for Windows 64-bit.

Have you obtained a special aftermarket adapter cable that allows you to utilize the 19-pin USB 3.0 header on the motherboard, like you mentioned?

What about the two USB 2.0 F_USB headers on the Aorus B550 Elite V1? Have you already tried using these with the original USB cable that should have come with the Archer T5E?

One of the front USB is taken by the case io, i am using the original cable that came with the ARCHER T5E, and plugged into the other one...

Bluetooth does work and the driver installs correctly, it is just that when the computer goes to sleep... and wakes up the driver "corrupts" or fails...

Another thing I failed to mention was when checking power states:

The following sleep states are available on this system:
    Standby (S3)
    Hibernate
    Hybrid Sleep

The following sleep states are not available on this system:
    Standby (S1)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

    Standby (S2)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

    Standby (S0 Low Power Idle)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

    Fast Startup
This action is disabled in the current system policy.

A lot fo forum and support threads for this issue tell you to disable fast startup and I did so.

  @Amcan

My computer has a Ryzen 5 2600 chip on an ASUS mainboard and a newer Intel AX210 Wi-Fi card.

The command "powercfg /availablesleepstates" also shows S1, S2 and S0 as not supported by the system firmware. So, that can't be an issue.

Are you running your computer with the motherboard's BIOS settings pretty much at the defaults or have you made a lot of tweaks in the BIOS? Sometimes overtweaking (or overclocking) the motherboard can lead to weird problems, too.
Also make sure the motherboard's BIOS version is up to date.

Other than that I don't know what else could be done.

These Wi-Fi modules from Intel are very common and I haven't heard about problems with standby or hibernation.
