Recently installed this router after my previous one died. TalkTalk ISP. I have had some issues- 

-Periods of very slow connection from the router

-High ping spikes frequentlly when using a wired and wireless connection in PC games; in excess of 600ms.

Any ideas what could be causing this?  I was using a 3rd party router before (fritzbox) with no issues like this, stable ping, consistent speeds. I have set the new router up with TalkTalk's  recommended settings  as per their website. 

Considering returning the router at this point, I purchased  for ease of use with  already owned OneMesh powerline adaptors  but the issues I'm having are not worth the  hassle.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
