When I log on to 192.168.0.1 or tplinkwifi.net and log in with my local password it will always return as incorrect. I have tried updating the firmware, and changing the password. none of these solutions work.

If you see the option "Forgot password ?" you can try to start a password recovery procedure.

If you bound your TP-Link ID with your device, you can try login with your TP-Link ID account.

In any other case if you forgot your local password you should reset the device to its factory defaults and then re-configure.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".
