Firmware Version:

I have the Deco M4's attached to my Virgin Media Hub 4. I need to split the wifi to 2.4 and 5 do I do this in the hub software or in the extenders software?

  @POLLLL

You seem to be mistaken about Deco mesh: these are not extenders to Virgin Hub, Deco mesh runs its own WiFi network.

  @Alexandre. Okay thank you Alexandre, does that mean I should split the wifi at the hub to 2.4 and 5ghz so creating two separate networks and devices that can only use 2.4 ghz can have access, and the Deco mesh can continue running its own network at 5ghz?

@POLLLL Try setting your guest network to 2.4 ghz only & your main network at 5 ghz only (from the deco app)

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it
