BUG - RE315 Supports EasyMesh Over Ethernet Backhaul
2023-12-18 10:36:09

  @David-TP

Host router is Archer AX73 v2, in non ethernet backhaul mode everything works fine, only when connected to ethernet NTP servers cannot be reached.

I will add pictures later, I don't have access to the devices right now

  @David-TP

Could you please consider adding ethernet backhaul to RE700X wifi 6 range extender? I am using RE700X units (3)  with my main router which is a TP Link BE900.

Thanks!

  @David-TP Hi. I have a new C80 V2.2 router with the latest firmware. What should I buy as an ethernet connected WiFi extender please? Another C80 or a WiFi extender like the RE315 ? What other extenders are compatible eg RE330 ?

Thanks. Alan in France.

It would be a good idea if there's a thread listing the ethernet backhaul capable REs (when there's more than one) like for the wireless routers.

If this was helpful click on the arrow pointing upward to make it blue. If this solves your issue, click the star to make it blue and mark the post as a "Recommended Solution".

  @terziyski Yes, I do agree with you. However, RE315 is the only model that supports EasyMesh over Ethernet Backhaul.

RE800BE might be the next, but so far this model hasn't been officially released.

Thank you very much and best regards.
