Hello everyone, 
Exciting news! We have made an enhancement to the AX72 V1 firmware.

Previously, HomeShield configuration and management were only available through the Tether App. However, we have listened to your feedback and now introduce the option to configure and manage HomeShield directly on the router's Web UI.

In addition, the new firmware also added Tether App information on the Web UI so that users could download and install Tether App easily to manage the router in a different way.

We highly recommend giving it a try and providing us with your valuable feedback. 

 

To experience this new feature, simply click on "Check for Updates" on your router's web GUI or within the Tether App.

This will allow you to upgrade to the latest firmware version, 1.2.2 Build 20230927.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts and making HomeShield even better for you. Thank you for your continued support!

1. Added management for HomeShiled functions on the Web UI
2. Optimized performance of HomeShiled
3. Enhance device security
4. Optimize the working stability of the equipment.

Hi, upon checking, only the US version firmware has been released, please wait and monitor for the new firmware release for EU version on your router Web Gui or Tether App.

I have an Atcher AX72 v1 and checked for updates, but new update doesn't show up.

Thank you for answering! Is european version 1.2.1. I tryed from Teather app and also on Web version to check for updates and same result.

How do you know whether the firmware is US/EU based.

Hi, please check the device label on the bottom of the router itself, you will see the version like EU, or US etc.

Hi, we don't have advanced notice about Archer AX73 yet, it is recommanded to pay attention to any new firmware update on the router Web GUI or Tether App.
