I don't know if anyone can help me here

 

I am pretty computer savvy ( apple )

But there is something about networks that really confuse me

And I am stuck

 

 

I live in a remote spot and traditional wired broadband has always been terrible

about 3 years ago I switched to a 4g router

I updated everything together and went all TP link

 

With an Archer Mr600 hooked up to an exterior aerial

 

A tp link TL-SG116 Gigabit switch

 

Then because I live in a house with thick stone walls a combination of

3  TP-Link Deco X20 - Whole-home Mesh Wi-Fi System - 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax -

 

 

And 4  TP-Link TL-PA8010P KIT V2 AV1300 Gigabit Passthrough Kit to get. To awkward spots

 

Not bad performance but as we have changed use of some rooms we are finding dead spots becoming more annoying

 

So I added

TP-Link Deco X20 AX1800 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System, AI-Driven Mesh

As it doesn't look like the original is still sold and has been updated

 

 

The I follow the instruction and they do not pair just gets stuck on the blue flashing light

 

In fact the app can not even see any of the existing units

I have no idea what I did when I set it up - but it has worked for 3 years I don't want to break it

I have not updated anything since installation except maybe a fiormware on the Router

 

 

First of all are the 2 new DECO X20 compatible  with the old X20?

 

If they are what should I do - start again?

 

The idea scares me a bit
