Hi,

Since the firmware update of 1.1.4 Build 20231027 Rel. 81602 on the P9's, my HP wifi P1102w and Samsung Wifi printer, will not print after some while.  The workaround it power off everything and then on, then try again.  This is 100% new behavior since the upgrade and no changes to both Wifi enabled printers have happened.

Please advise if this is an issue with the current firmware or if there is a way to downgrade to the previous version ?

Kind regards

  @JezzaD

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

Could you please share more details with us on how the printers stopped working?

Did they work well if both mobile devices and printers were connected to the same P9?

And 1.1.4 could be downgraded back to 1.1.3 directly via web UI.

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @David-TP

Printer Switch on (Power on). Then it will join the network.

Print from other devices e.g. Mac, iphone and it will happy to do.

Printer will then after sometime stop responding to request to print, it become unreachable.

The printers are set to sleep after1 hr, but does not seem to recover from this e.g. in past firmware, just hit one of the buttons to wake it up, however no longer is reachable on the network.

Power cycle is needed

Also we have noticed that in the Deco APP (iOS) often say they the odd P9 is offline, unreachable, a few mins and a refresh or three that are back.  I don't think they did ever fail, but maybe the just the  app.

We running with 4 x P9's in the MESH.
