Have lost admin access to the router. But other than that it seems to be working fine both wifi and ethernet.
I have tried everything to gain access and nothing seems to work.
So, the question is should I hard reset the router?

PS: I forgot to mention that I could access using Tether.

Upon successful reset your router should be accessible with IP address 192.168.0.1.

If you still can't access the router you may contact your local tech support for assistance.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

Here's how to find your router IP address. Once you know the IP address you can open that in a web browser to access the router login page.

The other way to access its login page is when you're connected to the router directly (wired or wireless) to open this link http://tplinkwifi.net

If you remember router administrative password you should be able to login.

If you forgot that password you have to reset the router to its factory defaults and re-configure from scratch.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

Well. Since nothing worked for me i decided to take the risk resetting the router to the factory default settings. I did it as recommended in the PDF User Guide, that is "Press and hold the button until all LEDs turn on to reset the router to its factory default settings." The first time it failed: I couldn't login. The second time it failed again. Finally at the third reset the router resurrected.
