Hi there, I am looking for guidance in extending my wifi coverage. I am looking to get fast wifi in my granny flat, it's less than 20 meters to the flat but I cannot get good wiffi from the house that far away.

What I am asking for is advice on a mesh system and particularly if I connect one of the mesh system in the flat with a Cat6 cable running in from another one or router in the house, will I get speed from the one in the house to the flat at the same or similar rate. I was thinking of the AX3000

Thanks. Hugh

If you are going to connect two Deco nodes with Ethernet cable, both will deliver same or very similar WiFi speed. Your plan should work.

I am not sure which Deco model you are talking about, if it is AX3000 it could be Deco X60 or Deco X50. As long as that Deco model has gigabit (or faster) Ethernet ports you should be fine.

  @HughOwen

Also, check Deco X55 price and availability. Just like X50 it has three Ethernet ports, otherwise quite similar to X60 which has two Ethernet ports.
