Hi

I have just installed Deco X20 with 3 nodes but not sure if I have configured it correctly although i followed the instructions per the app.

I have a modem and separate router.

I have connected the main deco unit direct to the modem and then to the router.  It seems to be working and i have set up the new wifi and connected 2 additional nodes.  However

1) At the moment my old wifi network is still operational which doesn't feel correct.  So do I need to change the router settting or remove it completely?  It is useful having the additiional ethernet ports that the router provides.

2 Or should the router connect to the modem and then to the Deco unit

3) Are there any other connection changes I should make?

The router is a technicolor dga0122nlk that came as part of my broadband installation

Not much of an expert so this is at the limit of my knowledge!!

Thanks

John

@JD17 Try setting up the X20s in Access point mode: How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it
