Internet drops out of deco randomly
Hi I have a single Deco BE85 v1 and i'm having a connection problem, so lets start;
problem;
(I have a LINKUP CAT7 10GB cert cable and have had no issues with that) I connect it to one of 2 10GB ports on said deco and all was well until yesterday, when we would lose internet randomly, so I did my usual checks made sure the cable was plugged in properly into the deco and I also checked my ONT too all was fine, then an hour later the same thing happened so I un plugged the cable from the deco and plugged it into my mac and set up a PPPoE connection all was fine left it connected for an hour was completely fine no issues. so i plugged it back into the deco and it connected no issue there too. seems weird to me but hey I'm new to this stuff. then it hapened again to I went to check the connection again I moved the cable and the connection came back the deco light went green, as soon as i let go of the cable it went red again to held the cable at diffrent angles and the light would go back to green. however when i plugged the cable into all other ports is does the same. I am at a loss here do i have a defected unit?
Any help would be grate!

Hi, if the overall bandwidth is less than 10G, would you mind connecting the internet cable to one of the 2.5Ghz ports?
Are all these 4 Ethernet cable connections from the same ISP modem router?
By the way, May I know who is your internet service provider and what is the model number of the ISP modem router/ONT?
Wait for your reply and best regards.

@Joe24 I have had exactly the same issue with my two Deco Be85 units. Occurs randomally once every 2 weeks. To resolve I have to reboot all both deco units. Did the reinstall of the Firmware sort the issue?
