I have been testing easymesh with AX73 + AX53, the problem is that having wireless backhaul I get low wifi speed in the satellite (AX53) because both devices are quite far away and I cannot install them closer. Given that I can have a wire between both, I have configured the satellite (AX53) as Access Point, with both wifi SSID equal.
It works great with Ipad pro, flawlessly. Made several speed tests moving fast from one router location to the other. Result is awesome, you do not notice the handover and speed is super.
It is not so smooth with Iphone 13 pro max, you notice the change of connection when moving fast from one place to other.
It is difficult to understand why TPLINK has not implemented wired backhaul in V1. It seems a marketing decision, apparently V1 and V2 have the same specs.
@tashvir you can try now the beta firmware, just released. Itried it and it works :-)
@Manuel6 do you know where I can find the beta version ?
