I am trying to help a friend configure his AX21 / AX1800 wifi router so that it will function as a range extender for existing router and access point. There does not seem to be a mode that will support that configuration. Can anyone confirm?

We are at our wits end having tried almost every setting to make this work. It appears that whether it is configured as a router or an access point, it will only use the LAN port for internet access.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
