Hi,

So I want to switch from BT to TP Link and after setting everything up, changing connection type to PPPoE with login bthomehub@btbroadband.com and BT password but I'm getting an error message saying that the ethereal cable is not connected, can any advise how to resolve the issue?

Thanks!

  @Marcin91

Follow this thread and see if it can help you set up your router to work with BT.

Regarding the error message, you may use another ethernet cable (CAT 5E) to exclude any cabling issues.

  @Marcin91

I'm with bt and I don't use their equipment,

All I have is the ont they installed and I'm using a ax72 as my main router.

I'm guessing your on bt fttp?

All I did was run a ethernet from the ONT to my main ax72 WAN port then followed up with the quick start up instructions.

I used the same credentials you listed above and all worked and works OK for me.
