Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.5

Hello,

I bought a 3 kit Deco x60 because I have poor wifi connexion in my son's room where I also do some Homeoffice during the week

My workaround was to get Internet through pcl connexion with Huge lost of Internet Speed (100MBit/sec vs 500MBit/sec in wifi)

So I switched to the 3er Kit Deco x60.

The Master Deco is linked To my Router with lan; the second is in a corridor and the last in the room of my son

each Deco are separated by 6m max (so very near)

Despite this small distance I get poor latency; the Speedtest lasts few seconds and the Speedtest is ran and is quite good

on 2nd and 3rd Deco Desktop PC's are linked to Deco with lan (the latency occures here)

But with this latency I cannot use it efficiency.

My wife is also working at home.

I have 2-3 weeks to test it; Else I will bring it back

but I want to be sure I don't miss anything.

what am I doing wrong?

Thank you for any tip

Hi, thanks for the feedback.

Is your current network topology like this:

As for the latency, do you refer to the ping timeout/spike?

If yes, can you share some screenshots about the ping test here?

Sometimes Double NAT will increase the ping latency and it is also suggested to set Deco X60 into Access point mode.

How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

Thank you very much and best regards.
