In my quest to try and sort out some WiFi for my garden and camera I thought I'd give my range extender another go.

 

Everything appears to be ok but when I access the system log I'm getting a lot of errors

 

"2.4Ghz failed the connection to the front end. Connecting time out"

 

Does anybody have any quick fixes for this?

Hi, May I know the current firmware and hardware version of TL-WA855RE?

How to find the hardware version on a TP-Link device

Did the signal light on the top turn to solid blue?

Ok so something not happy with this extender.

 

The original issue of my Tapo C510 is back with it disconnected and unable to ping it on the network although it's showing as a client on my extender and the extender is showing as connected to the internet with no issues.

 

I've just rebooted the extender, the camera dropped back to my main wifi and is back online. So there has to be something with the extender losing connection or something despite being able to browse the interface and showing connected.
